My Nyblom

Visiting Researcher at Chemical Biology

My Nyblom is since 2018 a PhD student in Fredrik Westerlund’s research group at the Division of Chemical Biology. Her research is focused towards understanding the processes of DNA damage and repair related to disease and medical treatment. This by conducting fluorescence measurements on single DNA molecules with fluorescently labeled individual DNA damage sites. The aim of the research, done in close collaboration with Prof. Ola Hammarsten at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, is to develop novel tools for personalized cancer therapy.
