Electrified aircraft propulsion –power dens and fault tolerant drive train modeling and evaluation
Research Project, 2026 – 2027

In this project, three researchers from two research units collaborate on the modelling and evaluation of an electric aircraft propulsion drive system with power dens and fault-tolerant electric machine and converter. Achieving high relevance requires cross-disciplinary collaboration, leveraging the expertise of both research units involved. The investigations will be conducted at both the component level—for the electric machine and converter—and at the aircraft propulsion system level.
