Extracting Novel Values from Aqueous Seafood Side Steams - NoVAqua
Research Project, 2015 – 2018

The first part of the NoVAqua project will deliver compositional data for a selection of Nordic aqueous seafood side streams to illustrate their values and to underpin suggested routes for commercialisation. In the next step, mild separation technology will be tested to recover a semi-solid fraction, and the value of this fraction will be explored as an ingredient in feed for salmon and wolffish of marine origin and high nutrient value.
