Biomass production and conversion in sustainably managed landscapes
Research Project, 2019 –

The research activities in this WP aims at developing and applying LCA methodology to biobased products. During 2019, two methodological issues are specifically addressed. The first is assessment of emerging production technologies for novel, biobased products, further developing the notion of prospective LCA. The second research activity aims at developing life cycle impact assessment methodology for impact on biodiversity from different kinds of land use. Beef production and forestry are being used as case studies. The persons involved include Prof. Anne-Marie Tillman, Assoc. Prof. Matty Janssen and Senior lecturer Ulrika Palme.
