The 15th International Conference on Shock & Impact Loads on Structures (SILOS 15) was held at the Lindholmen Conference Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden, on June 12–13, 2025. Organized by MKON and hosted by Chalmers University of Technology, the event welcomed a global community of researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and governmental representatives to share and discuss the latest advancements in the field of shock and impact loads on structures.

SILOS 15 featured a series of keynote presentations, technical sessions, and a pre-conference event—OpenRadioss User’s Day 2025. The conference was generously sponsored by the Foundation Fortifikationskårens Forskningsfond and Viper Applied Science. It showcased interdisciplinary research, fostered collaboration, and provided a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange in an atmosphere defined by academic rigor and professional engagement.

Set against the vibrant and culturally rich backdrop of Gothenburg—renowned for its maritime heritage and spirit of innovation—the conference offered not only an outstanding academic program but also valuable opportunities for networking and cultural enrichment.
