‘Model Workshop’ – a tool for resident-driven shaping of design criteria for public space to influence early stages of large-scale densification projects
Book, 2024

This book has been developed in the research project Citizen participation in densification projects – A model for how residents can influence urban development in the early stages of the planning of large-scale densification projects funded by Formas Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development (2020-01552). The project has been carried out in close collaboration between Gothenburg Research Institute, University of Gothenburg; Architecture and Civil Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology; and the Western Region of Swedish Union of Tenants. We owe a big thank you to Lasse Fryk, Dialog Mellan-Rum, who was consulted to document the Model Workshops in writing. We also warmly thank all participants in studies and workshops, who are anonymous in this reporting.
