Effektiv parameterskattning för katalysatormodeller- metodvalidering på flerskiktskatalysatorer
Forskningsprojekt, 2009 – 2014

The project is a cooperation between Scania CV AB , Johnson Matthey AB and Chalmers University of Technology, Chemical Reaction Engineering . The research is done in the form of a PhD project. As a graduate student there Björn Lundberg. Scania and Johnson Matthey provides in kind with both its own expertise in the field and with resources for engine bench testing . Work on the development of methods for modeling, design of experiments, parameter estimation, evaluation and validation is performed primarily at Chalmers. Regularly during work carried out test innings with engine bench testing at Scania and Johnson Matthey. To verify the validity of parts of the models performed more basic laboratory tests on Johnson Matthey. During the project, the new methods are evaluated at Scania and Johnson Matthey . The chosen application is a so called Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) for heavy-duty diesel.
