AI for Analysis for Naturalistic Driving Data
Forskningsprojekt, 2020 – 2022

The purpose of this project is to apply AI to big naturalistic datasets (naturalistic data is data collected by road users while following their daily routine) for the automated extraction of human state and intention from videos. Although previous work addressed glance behavior, emotions and secondary tasks, the results are still too preliminary and limited to support automated vehicles. This project will make a major step forward in this effort leveraging on the complementary expertise of the PIs and their groups and the unique data available at SAFER.
