Doktorand at Chalmers, Physics, Condensed Matter Physics

I am a PhD student in Patrik Johansson's group since October 2015. My research is focused on modelling electrolytes for next generation batteries, with an emphasis on Sodium Ion Batteries. In particular, ab initio and semi-empirical methods are applied in order to gain knowledge about the electrolyte at the molecular level. A goal of my research is to be able to connect the microscopic view of the electrolyte with its macroscopic properties, i.e. its conductivity and mobility.
