Bei is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, performing research under the advisement of the Associate Professor Katerina Mitrokotsa. Bei have recently been awarded with a Doctorate Degree in Information Security and Cryptography by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2016 in China.Bei works in the area of theoretical cryptography with a focus on the study of program obfuscation, functional encryption. verifiable random functions, verifiable delegation of computations and so on.
