Sven Engström
Sven Engström supervises together with Anette Larsson the group Pharmaceutical Technology. As a Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, he focuses his research on the use of lipids as excipients in medicinal products and other biotechnical systems. At present the focus is on a formulation for the treatment of skin cancer by means of photodynamic therapy (PDT) and a lipid system for the crystallization of membrane proteins.
