Daniel Tafoya
His research is focused on the study of circumstellar envelopes of stars that are reaching the end of their lives, so called evolved stars. The main goal of the research is to understand how the existence of stars, like our sun, comes to an end. To carry out his investigations he uses radio telescopes such as APEX, ALMA, and the JVLA. He also dedicates part of his working time to support the activities at the Nordic ALMA Regional Center.
