Interaction platform for research on system transformation
Research Project, 2023 – 2026

Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to create an interaction platform to promote transdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration between different stakeholder groups (academia, policy actors and other stakeholders). The focus is on developing knowledge about how processes of system transformation take place and develop, what role innovation plays in these, and which policy measures and initiatives stimulate such processes. The goal is to develop a joint research agenda; facilitate co-creation, and exchange of knowledge; as well as contribute to the development of policy.

Expected results and effects
The platform intends to lead to the development of a research agenda around challenge-driven system transformation, to strengthen interaction between different actors and disciplines (research, policy actors and others) and by doing so stimulate joint knowledge development and dissemination. The interaction platform will build and maintain a community with a focus on system transformation, which is expected to lead to a better understanding of transformation processes as well as the development and implementation of transformative innovation policy.
