The NordicPharmaTrain is consolidating world-leading research and education in the Nordics within drug delivery, contemporarypharmaceutical manufacturing and clinical implementation with focus on translation and innovation in pharmaceutical research. Theconsortium is based on 10 top universities within the Nordic region and focus on i) mobility actions for young researchers and seniorscientists; ii) research and education in collaboration with the strong life science partners within the region; and iii) training andmentorship of young researchers to equip them for future leadership within Nordic biotech and pharma industry. Via cooperation withother EU-based consortia and global top-ranked universities, the Nordic vibrant life science community is made visible to scientistoutside the geographical location, facilitating attraction of new talents to the Nordics. The close interaction with industrial and clinicalpartners will safeguard natural transit from the NordicPharmaTrain to the Nordic life science academia and industry. NordicPharmaTrainwill hence act as a world-leading educator in pharmaceutical sciences. We are a facilitator supporting the Nordic region with the nextgeneration pharmaceutical scientists, of critical need to maintain the Nordic life science business in pole position.
