Thermal Energy Storage (TES)
Research Project, 2016
–
The aim of the work package is to stake out new research pathways for implementation and integrated planning of solutions for demand side management of thermal energy for heating and cooling of buildings. We will continue activities to boost external funding. Several proposals have been submitted to Formas, VR, the Swedish Energy Agency and KAW in 2019. The fruitful collaborations with Jan Swenson, Physics, and Kasper Moth Paulsen, Chemistry, will continue where. One of the goals is to develop tools and solutions for validation and optimization of thermal energy storage solutions, both utilizing materials for latent (PCM) and thermochemical storage (CSM, MOST). A Post Doc will be engaged with the work in the work package, with the task to scientifically report the work to increase the international visibility of the research group.
