Kasper Moth-Poulsen
Kasper Moth-Poulsen (KMP) is an ICREA professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC), at the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona ( ICMAB-CSIC) and a Full Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, He obtained his PhD from University of Copenhagen (2007), and continued his career as a post doc at Univ. Copenhagen (2007-2009) before moving to UC Berkeley (2009-2010) where he worked with professors Segalman and Vollhardt. In 2011 he joined Chalmers University where he currently holds a position as a full professor. Since 2021 he is an ICREA professor at the Barcelona Institute of Materials Science (ICMAB-CSIC) KMP is an associate editor of J. Mater. Chem. C and Materials Advances. KMP is active in synthesis and function of nanomaterials and is working with developing molecular systems for single molecule electronics, photon up-conversion and solar energy storage.
