Phase calibration of a software defined radio system for medical applications
Paper in proceeding, 2019

Accurate phase measurement is crucial for many medical applications. We presented the challenge of using a software defined radio system for phase measurement and proposed two different calibration strategies to address this problem. Both strategies were implemented and evaluated. The results show that the first strategy gives better measurement repeatability than the second one. With this strategy, the random phase offset between the transmitter and receiver can be effectively compensated and the obtained phase measurement uncertainty is in the order of sub-degrees.
