Per Hogström

Universitetslektor vid Marin teknik

Per Hogström tog civilingenjörsexamen 2004 med en master i skeppsbyggnad, arbetade som provningsingenjör och började doktorera 2007. Han disputerade våren 2012. Pers forskningsområde rör numeriska simuleringar av fartygskollisioner, både hållfasthetssimulreing av kollisionen samt vad som händer med det påkörda fartyget. Syftet är att kunna ge rekommendationer för hur kollisionssimuleringar ska utföras samt hur osäkerheter i de numeriska modeller som används påverkar slutresultatet. Dessutom utvärderas krocksäkerheten hos innovativa fartygsstrukturer som är utformade för att mildra konsekvenserna av en kollision.
