Max Guillen

I obtained my PhD at ICTP South American Institute for Fundamental Research in 2019. In 2020, I joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2024, I started a new postdoctoral position in the deparments of Algebra and Geomtry, and Analysis and Probability Theory at Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg, respectively.

My research has been focused on massless and massive string scattering amplitudes, as well as M-Theory interactions with pure spinors.

Recently, my scientific interests include the study of mathematical and physics-based formulations of Deep Learning (e.g. connections between neural networks and gauge theory).
