Vahid Nik

Affilierad professor vid Chalmers, Arkitektur och samhällsbyggnadsteknik, Byggnadsteknologi

Vahid är docent i byggfysik med bakgrund i maskinteknik, med fokus på energiomvandling och vätskedynamik. Han var postdoc på EPFL i Schweiz innan han började sin fakultetsposition vid Lunds universitet 2014. Han har också en adjungerad befattning vid Queensland University of Technology (QUT) i Australien, där han samarbetar med Institute for Future Environments (IFE).Han leder / övervakar projekt om framtida stadsenergisystem och eftermontering av byggnader i Sverige och Schweiz.Hans forskningsintressen är konsekvensbedömning av klimatförändringar på byggnader och infrastrukturer, stadsenergisystem, integrering av förnybara energikällor, energi och hygrotermisk simulering av byggnader, optimering och statistisk analys.
