Elin Malmgren

Doctoral Student at Maritime Studies

Elin Malmgren is a Ph.D. student working with alternative fuels in the shipping industry. The working title of her thesis is “Development of methodology for assessing the environmental and economic impact of future fossil-free ship propulsion system” and the research focuses on life cycle assessment and cost estimates. She is currently taking part in the HyMethShip project (hymethship.com).

Before coming to Chalmers Elin finished her masters in Sustainable Technology at KTH, and has worked within the x-ray industry.
