Ananda Subramani Kannan

Doktorand at Chalmers, Mechanics and Maritime Sciences, Fluid Dynamics

Ananda Subramani Kannan is a Doctoral student at the multiphase flow group within the division of fluid dynamics. His research interests encompass both fluid-fluid and particle-fluid systems with an extended focus on numerical model development. Since February 2016, he has been working on his PhD project entitled – 'A continuum model for Brownian motion in rarefied gas-solid flows'. This work is based on theoretical derivations combined with numerical investigations (using an Immmersed boundary method). The models developed would be applied for studying PM deposition in vehicle after-treatment systems.
