Caroline Ansin
Caroline Ansin's research is focused on developing digital twins of reprofiled rails as a part of CHARMEC. The aim of the research is to predict how the geometry of a rail-cross section after grinding is changed due to plasticity, wear and crack initiation. Finally, it should be determined when there is a need for re-grinding.
