Björn Lindau

Björn Lindau is an Industrial PhD student from Volvo Car Corporation. He performs his studies in a close collaboration with the research group “Robust Design and Variation Simulation”. The research focuses he on how sheet metal parts geometrically behaves when assembled into a complete car body. The aim is to create efficient useful simulation tools and methods for early prediction about the geometric sensitivity in projected product- and production designs. The use of virtual tools can shorten lead-times and minimize the need of physical test objects.
