Brina Blinzler

Assistant Professor at Material and Computational Mechanics

Brina specializes in composite mechanics. Her research interests include nano/micro-architectured multifunctional materials, material informatics, autonomous design and assembly via swarm robotics, additively manufactured structures, sustainable and renewable materials development, and characterization of aging, fatigue and corrosion. Techniques include automated image extraction for computational analysis and neural network training, multiscale optimization, and in-situ manufacturing process characterization. Brina is involved in the 2D-Tech Centre and the all Wood Composites Platform.
