Samuel C Lorin

Samuel Lorin is a researcher within the Geometry Assurance and Robust Design research group. His research is focused on simulating geometrical variation for light weight products. The need for light weight components in some products, such as cars, is increasing due to the growing environmental concern. However, knowledge of product variation and their non-nominal functions is needed in the early phase of the development of a new product. The research is performed in close collaboration with industry. Samuel is teaching Advanced Computer Aided Design and Engineering Design.
