As a PhD student Camille Pauzon focus on Additive Manufacturing. The collaboration between Chalmers and Linde Gas came up in 2016 from the shared interest in understanding gas-powder-laser interactions. During a research stay at Linde in Munich, Camille will conduct experimental work using high-sensitive gas analysis techniques. High energy AM processes result in plasma formation, metal vaporization and oxidation, etc. The gas control aims toward establishing a robust process like for sintering or welding techniques.
