Peng Shia-Hui

Visiting Professor at Fluid Dynamics

Peng earned a Tek. Lic. in Energy Technology at KTH in 1994. He received PhD in Thermo and Fluid Dynamics at Chalmers in 1998 and Docent in 2001. He has been employed in the Swedish Defence Research Agency, FOI, since 2001. He was appointed as Deputy Research Director in 2003 and Research Director in CFD and Turbulence Modelling in 2006. He has since 2006 been adjunct professor in CFD at Chalmers. Since 2009, he has also held a guest professorship in Computational Thermal and Fluid Dynamics at KTH.

Peng's main research activities have been in general on fluid flow and heat transfer, particularly on computational modelling and simulations of fundamental flow physics as well as for industrial applications, primary in aeronautic engineering and also to environment and energy systems. Over the recent years, a large part of his research has been dedicated to computational analysis of aerodynamic performance and control of air vehicles and aerosystems.
