Jonas is an industrial doctoral student at the Division of Geology and Geotechnics, research group Environmental geology – land and water resources.Jonas conduct his research studies mainly within the project "Risk management of groundwater drawdowns in subsidence sensitive areas: Cost-benefit analysis of safety measures in infrastructure projects". This project is trans-disciplinary between hydrogeology, geotechnics and risk management. Jonas develops methods expected to give new insights on how to better predict the risk of harmful subsidence caused by groundwater drainage. In parallel to his research, Jonas work as a hydrogeologist at a consultancy company.
