Battery Management
Research Project, 2017 – 2019

The goal of this project is to develop a method for how to derive a robust model based algorithm estimating battery available power. Using the algorithms the power capacity of the battery can then be better utilized; charging can be made faster, the life-time increased and the energy management in hybrid vehicles be improved. As a consequence electrified and hybrid vehicles will become more attractive to potential drivers and a development towards a more sustainable vehicle fleet is enhanced.
