Virtual Architecture for Development and Verification of Chassis Mechatronic Systems
Forskningsprojekt, 2016
– 2022
The project is to investigate how to achieve consistent development methods for the chassis mechatronic system especially the electric power assisted steering (EPAS) system. To reach the goal the gap between the heterogeneous simulation, including off-line co-simulaiton and on-line co-simulation (hardware/software in the loop) should be bridged. It requires coupling technics for co-simulation and adaptive filters for delay compensation. Another gap to be brigded is the objective simulation result to the human driver subjective feeling in the dynamic driving siimulator (a motion-cued hardware in the loop environment). It requires an understanding of the influence of motion-cueing algorithms on the steering feeling evaluation.
