Development of high reliability motor drives for next generation propulsion applications (DORNA)
Forskningsprojekt, 2020 – 2026

The aim of this programme, entitled “Development of high reliability motor drives for next generation propulsion applications (DORNA)”, is to form a coherent Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) network to address the technical challenges facing the electrical propulsion applications with a focus on the development of high reliability electrical motor drives. It brings together world-leading universities in the disciplinary fields of electrical machinery, power electronic converters, mechanical powertrains, control algorithms and artificial intelligence, wireless communications, prognostics and diagnostics, data acquisition and data analytics, as well as world-leading industries specialising in aerospace, electric vehicles, high-speed trains, electrical ships and component manufacture.
