Arindam Brahma
Arindam’s research focuses on developing insights, models, and tools with an ultimate aim of supporting design practitioners in the development of complex engineered solutions. Of particular interest is on how to utilize design margins to tackle uncertainties which arise throughout a products lifecycle. Design margins are often left unutilized in designs. Methods and tools to identify and effectively utilize margins will ultimately make designs more efficient and reduce waste.
Arindam earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2020.
