Karin Pettersson

Karin Pettersson joined the division in 2006. Her main field of interest is how to use biomass in the best way from a resource efficient, climatic and economic point of view. In a Swedish perspective the pulp and paper industry is a major player and constitutes a large part of the potential sites for integration of biorefineries. In 2011 Karin defended her PhD thesis “Black Liquor Gasification-Based Biorefineries – Determining Factors for Economic Performance and CO2 Emission Balances”.
