Yngve Hamnerius

Biträdande professor at Electrical Engineering, Signalbehandling och medicinsk teknik, Biomedical Electromagnetics

Professor Yngve Hamnerius is Program Director for the Biomedical Engineering Master Program. His main research involves biological effects of electromagnetic fields, and field measurement and field mitigation techniques. These interdisciplinary studies are done in close co-operation with researchers from other faculties. Knowledge in this area is used to fulfil environmental demands on magnetic fields when building new power lines and train lines. Professor Hamnerius is Chairman of Section K, URSI Sweden, performing consult tasks for the industry, such as environmental consequence analysis.
