Ralf Jänicke is Associate Professor in Solid and Structural Mechanics at the Division of Material and Computational Mechanics. His research is focused on modeling, computational homogenization and reduced order modeling of multi-scale and multi-physics materials. He is particularly interested in transport in porous media with applications in geotechnics, structural engineering and materials science.
