Xiaomi Yang

Doctoral Student at Vehicle Safety

Xiaomi Yang is a PhD student in crash analysis and prevention unit from vehicle safety division and she is one of the ESRs (early-stage-researchers) in SHAPE-IT project (a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA) Innovative Training Network (ITN) project). She focuses her research on safety assessment of automated vehicles by using counterfactual simulations. She also works on statistical methods to improve efficiency of scenario generation for comparing safety benefits of automated vehicles and manual driving vehicles.
