MicroITS - Beräkningsmodeller för säker integrering av mikromobilitet i transportsystemet
Forskningsprojekt, 2023 – 2024

This project will leverage on field, naturalistic, and subjective data from e-scooters/e-scooterists to inform the decision making of several stakeholders, contributing to the safe integration of micromobility in the transport system.
The main results from this project will be described in scientific publications and will consist of mathematical models and statistical analyses that will relate e-scooterist behavior to traffic safety, (to make sure that the climate and mobility advantages of e-scooters are not exploited at the expense of safety).
MicroITS will integrate results across different disciplines and share data and models to promote synergies across e-scooter projects at different departments within Chalmers.
