Johanna Pejlare

Senior Lecturer at Algebra and geometry

My research is dedicated to the history of mathematics and mathematics education. In particular, I am interested in the early Swedish history of mathematics education. I am currently involved in the project "Towards research-based teaching of algebra". Within this project, I study the implementation of algebra in school mathematics during the last 50 years. I am also involved in a comparative study focusing on students' flexibility in mathematics.
