Reto Weber

Lecturer at Maritime Studies

Reto Weber has sailed in all deck ranks from deckhand to captain on bulk carriers and Ro-Ro vessels. Before joining Chalmers as an instructor and lecturer he was a pilot on the Swedish West coast. He gained his education in Switzerland, England and Sweden and is holder of a Master Mariner’s license and an MSc degree from the World Maritime University. Reto Weber is mainly engaged with courses and research in the Full Mission Bridge Simulator and is the examiner in the courses Shiphandling and navigation in confined waters and Bridge Teamwork.
