Yasmine Sassa

Visiting Researcher at Materials Physics

My research group, Quantum Materials & Technology (QuTM), is oriented towards advanced characterization and growth of a wide scope of quantum materials for energy efficient devices. We are using a combination of X-ray, neutron, and muon state-of-the-art experimental techniques available at large-scale facilities to probe both the electronic and magnetic properties of materials. In addition, we are also growing thin film heterostructures to study surfaces and interfaces properties.
