Jonathan Weidow
I have the assignment as Program Director for the Engineering physics. This means, among other things, that I lead the education program and am responsible for ensuring that education plans and syllabi correspond to the goals of the education.
In my research, I investigate the structure of different materials and try to link this to its properties. I am, among other things, interested in materials used in cutting tooling and mining.
The courses I am responsible for are TIF276, the Tools of Engineering Physics, which is the first physics course in the Engineering Physics program, and the courses FFY402, Physics, and TIF370, Physics, which are courses in the Engineering Chemistry and Biotechnology programs.
