Daniel Krska

Doctoral Student at Industrial Biotechnology

Dan Krska started as a PhD student within the Industrial Biotechnology group in May of 2017. His research focuses on the investigation of thermophilic multi-catalytic enzymes from various Caldicellulosiruptor species which are capable of degrading biomass. A better structural and biochemical understanding of these enzymes is expected to contribute to their use in industrial processes, and improve conversion of complex biomass is into fermentable sugars.
