Michael Kahnert

Michael Kahnert is adjunct professor in global environmental measurement and modelling and a research scientist at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. He works with fundamental questions and numerical methods in electromagnetic scattering theory, applications to aerosols, ice clouds, and cosmic dust, radiative transfer in planetary atmospheres, as well as inverse modelling, remote sensing, chemical data assimilation, air pollution modelling, and aerosol-cloud coupling.
