Pinar Boyraz-Baykas is an Associate Professor in Vehicle Safety Division of Mechanics and Maritime Sciences Department at Chalmers. Her research field broadly includes applications of mathematical modelling, mechatronics, signal processing and control theory. The focus of her applied research range from driver behavior modelling, active safety system design, vehicle/system dynamics & control to robotics and mechanism design. She was awarded by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation through Experienced Researcher Fellowship [2016-2017] and is a member of IEEE since 2008.
