Ruggero Verre

Researcher at Chalmers, Physics, Bionanophotonics

I am currently employed as a staff scientist in the bionanofotonik group. In the group I am devoted in the creation of new original nanostructures using colloidal and e-beam lithography. The structures have been studied for fundamental and applied research, especially for sensing applications. I received my bachelor in Italy, at the university of Pavia, with a thesis on quasicrystal materials. I followed my studies afterwards in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, where I completed my PhD and my first postdoctoral experience. There, I developed a novel deposition method for the production of nanoparticle arrays. My expertise fields are in optics, material science, nanofabrication
