I am a research specialist in machine learning, data science, and related research policy.

I got my PhD in complex systems in 2016. In the academic year 2017-2018 I was a visiting fellow at Oxford University. I previously led the Data Science Research Engineers unit working on research connected to CHAIR (Chalmers Artificial Intelligence Research centre, and Chalmers Areas of Advance).

Since May 2023, Vilhelm has been working with research activity and policy through Chalmers E-commons. How can research activities in a technical university handle demands for compliance in an increasingly complicated policy landscape? What are the changing demands from the different instruments, e.g., from on the EU level? This is relevant for research collaborations with external actors including internationalization and innovation.
