Anand Harihara Subramonia Iyer

Post doc at Microstructure Physics

I did my masters’ degree in metallurgical and materials engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (2013-2015). Currently, I am a PhD student with Dr. Magnus Hörnqvist Colliander and Prof. Krystyna Stiller working on the development of micro-mechanical testing methods to measure mechanical properties of oxide scales. My work involves using in-situ testing methods such as micro-cantilever bending to measure fracture properties of thermally grown oxide scales and also characterisation using electron microscopy.
