Björn Lantz, PhD, is an associate professor of engineering economic analysis. Methodologically, he works mostly with quantitative approaches in his research, with applications in logistics and economic analysis. He has published 40+ peer reviewed journal articles and 10+ books. His main current research area is capacity management in health care.Björn is also very interested in the history of polar exploration, especially the 1897 Andrée balloon expedition and the race for the South Pole between Scott and Amundsen in 1911-1912.
