Björn Lantz
Jag är biträdande professor i operations management. Min forskning är främst inriktad mot logistik, produktionsekonomi och innovationsstudier och omfattar flera empiriska fält, däribland transport, sjukvård, förnybar energi, e-handel och byggsektorn. Jag arbetar huvudsakligen med kvantitativa forskningsmetoder och har ett brett metodologiskt fokus som inkluderar metodfrågor såsom urvalsmetodik, datainsamling och forskningsdesign, samt avancerade analysmetoder som konfirmatorisk faktoranalys (CFA), strukturell ekvationsmodellering (SEM), regression och variansanalys (ANOVA). Sedan 2012 är jag associate editor för den vetenskapliga tidskriften Electronic Commerce Research. Jag undervisar huvudsakligen inom managerial economics, operations management och vetenskaplig metod. I min undervisning betonar jag ett kvantitativt perspektiv, där jag integrerar statistiska och analytiska metoder för att ge studenterna en djupare förståelse för ämnena. På min fritid utforskar jag historiska polarexpeditioner, främst ur ett logistiskt perspektiv, och med särskilt intresse för Andrée-expeditionen 1897 och racet till Sydpolen mellan Amundsen och Scott 1911–1912.
